Jewelry Set Summer Auction. The opal pendant and earrings set are sculpted from borosilicate glass. Created on site in the SiNaCa Studios’ flame working studio in front of a torch capable of producing a 3,000º flame. The two complimentary pendants are kiln formed glass that were made using a variety of colored and dichroic glass which has a beautiful iridescent shimmer. Wear this on a chain or on a leather or fabric necklace.

When asked “Why should someone bid on this item?”, artist Christa Westbrook said, “Each item has been created with the right amount of shine to be worn for any occasion. The sparkle of the rainbow opals levitated in the crystal clear glass reminds me of arctic ice floating in the ocean. The pendants each have a unique touch of dichroic embedded beneath the surface creating a shimmer of color that shifts in the light.”
