Are you looking for a new hands on creative project? We are now offering a new way to play with glass at home! Introducing Take it, Make it. These projects have been developed to be designed and assembled in the comfort of your home and then returned to SiNaCa for a firing in one of our kilns.  All of the needed supplies will be included in your kit, including a glass glue to help keep your masterpiece in place when you bring it back for firing. You will also be given a link to a video to give you inspiration and guidance for the specific project. Projects start at $35 per kit.

 

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Choose and pay for your kit(s)
  • Pick up your kit(s) at SiNaCa Studios
  • Watch the video
  • Create your item
  • Use the QR code on your project card to send a picture of your project
  • Allow the glue to dry and place everything back into the container
  • Bring the designed item and any extra material back to SiNaCa Studios
  • We will email you when your completed project is ready for pickup
  • Pick up your completed project at SiNaCa Studios

Tea Light Candle Holder

Give your place a custom glow creating a unique tea light candle holder. Use a lot of the provided materials to create a kaleidoscope of colors, or go for the minimal approach in your design. Either way, or maybe in between, let your creativity be your guide.

Night Light

Add some soft light and color to your room with our Take it, Make it – Night Light kit. Your kit will contain two 3″x 3″ clear pieces of glass for you to create on. Let your creativity be your guide to design your custom night light. Will it be a recognizable image, or an abstract scene? If you are having trouble coming up with an idea we will have a few images that you can use as a stencil to get you started. When your glass is ready for pick up it will come with one base, each tile will have its own clamp. Allowing for the images to be switched.

YOUR NIGHT LIGHT KIT WILL INCLUDE:

  • 2 Project bases for as many kits as you select
  • Each base will have a clip adhered to the back of it after it is fused
  • Each kit will include one plug base and light bulb (provided at final pickup)
  • A range of colorful glass accessories to create your design
  • Design inspiration cards
