Thank you for your interest in hosting an event at SiNaCa Studios.  We offer both hands-on and demonstration style events that can be scheduled off site at your location or on site any time a studio is not reserved for curriculum or artist rentals. During a private event, we do try to eliminate all other foot traffic in the host studio. However, the gallery will remain open to the public, and curriculum that is scheduled in a non-related studio could be happening.  Event scheduling will be based on studio and instructor availability. We don’t have a required minimum head count however, there may be some restrictions based on the number of guests, time limits, event type or items. You can also invite non-participating guests for no additional fee. We do require a signed contract and a 50% deposit in order to officially schedule the event. If you have catering, there is no additional fee, but it is required to let us know so we can reserve the additional space. Items will be ready for pickup around 1-2 weeks after event. Check in with your instructor for a more accurate date. We can also ship out items for an additional fee. Corporate Team Building Events at Your Location (Off Site)

Off Site | Team Building Kiln Formed Event (Individual Items): Typically $40-$60 per participant

Our kiln forming instructors will come to your facility to help your team design and create individual glass items. They will provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and safety gear. Each team member will cut and layer glass with frit and stringers for their design. After assembly, we’ll take the projects to SiNaCa for a 12-hour firing in an electric kiln. You can choose from available items for your group to create.

Off Site | Team Building Kiln Formed Project (Group Item): Starts at $500

Our kiln forming instructors will visit your facility to help your team create a fused mosaic platter, bowl, or wall hanging featuring your business logo or design. They will provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and safety gear. Your team will learn to cut and layer glass with frit and stringers. After assembly, we’ll take the project to SiNaCa for a 12-hour firing in an electric kiln.

Off Site | Corporate Flame Working Event (Individual Items): Typically $55-$75 per participant

Our flame working instructors will visit your facility to help each team member design and create an individual glass item. They will provide all necessary equipment, supplies, tools, safety gear, and gases. Participants will work with colored and clear glass rods or tubes using a gas-fueled torch, melting and shaping the glass with tools and gravity. You can choose from available items for your team to create.

Off Site | Corporate Flame Working Demonstration: Starts at $400

Two of our professional flame working instructors will visit your facility and deliver a formal flame working demonstration.  They will bring all of the necessary equipment, supplies, tools, safety gear and combustible gasses to complete the demonstrations.  During this time we will explain all of the steps taken when working with colored and clear glass rods or tubes in front of an open, gas-fueled torch.  Your team members are encouraged to interact with our demonstrators with questions and personal stories.

Corporate Team Building Events at SiNaCa (On Site)

On Site | Formal Glass Blowing Demonstration: Starts at $400

Two professional glass blowers will present a two hour formal glass blowing demonstration. During this time we will explain all of the steps taken to complete two items. We will provide bleacher seating and PA system so that all attendees will be able to see and hear the demonstration.  Your team members are encouraged to interact with our demonstrators with questions and personal stories.  There are optional additional fees for up to 10 members to participate in the creation of the piece. Each member will work with our instructors to create a large glass item using molten glass (2100°F) from the furnace. Team members will gather glass on a pipe, shape it with tools, apply color, and reheat their creation. You can choose from the following items to create:

On Site | Design Your Own Team Event (Individual Items): Typically $55-$85 per participant
All build your own private events are priced per person, per item that is created from the options below.  You and your group must come to an agreement on what item you want to make if you are in a single studio. Generally with groups over twelve, we suggest choosing two studios and with groups of over twenty we suggest choosing three studios. SiNaCa Studios reserves the right to enforce a maximum number of total items per studio in order to stay within the quoted time frame and price for the event.

Flame Working Studio: When you are working in the flame working studio, you are working with colored and clear glass rods or tubes, either Borosiliate (33 coe) or Moretti-Effetre (soft glass) in front of an open, gas-fueled torch to melt the glass as well as use tools and gravity to shape your item.  You can choose from the following items for your participants to create:
