Our refund/return/exchange policies vary depending on the type of transaction you’re engaging in.  It’s essential to review the specific policies related to your transaction type to ensure a clear understanding of your rights and responsibilities. Here’s an overview of our policies:

RETAIL & CONSIGNMENT TRANSACTIONS

Thank you for shopping with SiNaCa Studios. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we are committed to providing you with a fair and transparent refund and returns policy. Please read the following policy carefully:

1. Time Frame:

Our refund and returns policy lasts for 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns:

a. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

b. It must be in the original packaging.

3. Exempt Items:

a. The following items are exempt from being returned:

i. Gift Cards

ii. Used Equipment Sold “As Is”

4. Proof of Purchase:

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

5. Partial Refunds:

a. In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted:

i. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

ii. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

6. Refunds:

a. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

b. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

c. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 90 days.

7. Late or Missing Refunds:

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account.  Contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.  If you’ve completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@sinacastudios.org.

8. Sale Items:

a. Items sold on sale at SiNaCa Studios School of Glass and Gallery are eligible for refunds but will be refunded at the purchased sale value. Please note the following details regarding refunds for sale items:

b. If you return an item that was purchased on sale, the refund will be issued for the amount paid at the time of purchase, which is the sale price. The refund will not be based on the item’s original or regular price.

9. Exchanges:

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please send us an email at info@sinacastudios.org and send your item to: 1013 W. Magnolia, Fort Worth, TX 76104.

10. Shipping Returns:

a. To return your product, mail it to: 1013 W. Magnolia, Fort Worth, TX 76104.

b. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, and shipping costs are non-refundable.

c. Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

d. If you are returning expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

CLASS AND WORKSHOP TRANSACTIONS

At SiNaCa Studios – School of Glass and Gallery, we understand that sometimes circumstances may prevent you from attending a glass making class you’ve registered for. To ensure a fair and transparent policy for our students, we have established the following Refund and Reschedule Policy:

1. Refund Policy:

a. Cancellations by SiNaCa Studios: In the event that SiNaCa Studios needs to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund of the class fee. Alternatively, students may choose to reschedule their class to a later date, subject to availability.

b. Student Cancellations:

i. If you need to cancel your registration more than 14 days before the scheduled class date, we will refund your payment in full, minus a 10% administrative fee.

ii. If you cancel your registration between 7 and 14 days before the scheduled class date, you will receive a 50% refund of the class fee.

iii. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled class date are not eligible for a refund.

c. No-shows: Failure to attend a class without prior notification will result in forfeiture of the class fee, and no refund will be issued.

2. Reschedule Policy:

a. Student Requested Rescheduling:

i. If you need to reschedule your class and provide notice more than 7 days before the scheduled class date, we will accommodate your request without any additional fees, subject to availability.

ii. Reschedule requests made between 1 and 7 days before the scheduled class date may be subject to a rescheduling fee equal to 10% of the class fee.

iii. Reschedule requests made less than 1 day before the scheduled class date will not be accepted, and the class fee will be forfeited.

b. Instructor-Led Rescheduling:

If, for any reason, SiNaCa Studios needs to reschedule a class, we will notify affected students as soon as possible. Students will be given the option to either attend the rescheduled class or receive a full refund.

3. Discount and Promotional Codes:

a. Expiration Dates: Discounts and promotional codes provided by SiNaCa Studios School of Glass and Gallery have specified expiration dates, which are final. Once a discount or promotional code has expired, it cannot be used for future transactions.

b. Refund on Expired Discounts: If a discount or promotional code has been applied to the original purchase, and it has expired at the time of a cancellation, refunds will be calculated based on the paid amount after the discount was applied. The discount amount will not be refunded.

c. Rescheduling with Expired Discounts: If you wish to reschedule a class for which an expired discount or promotional code was previously applied, you may be required to pay the difference between the standard class fee and the discounted rate at the time of rescheduling. The expired discount or promotional code will not be reapplied to the rescheduled class.

4. Private Parties and Corporate Events:

Special policies may apply to group classes or private events. Please refer to the specific terms provided upon booking group classes or private events.

5. Late or Missing Refunds:

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this, and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

7. Temperature-Related Safety Precaution:

At SiNaCa Studios School of Glass and Gallery, the safety of our staff and participants is of utmost importance. As a safety precaution, we do not offer glass making programming in our glass blowing studio after 12 pm on days when the ambient outside temperature is forecasted to be 100°F (37.8°C) or greater. Our glass blowing studio is not climate controlled and operates at a high temperature, making it important to consider the safety of individuals working with equipment at 2100°F (1150°C) under extreme external heat conditions.

a. Temperature Threshold: Glass making programming will not be scheduled or will be suspended in our glass blowng studio after 12 pm on days when the forecasted ambient outside temperature reaches or exceeds 100°F (37.8°C).

b. Participant Safety: This policy is implemented to ensure the safety of both our staff and participants. High temperatures in the studio environment can pose health risks, and working with molten glass under such conditions can be dangerous.

c. Rescheduling: In the event that a class is affected by this policy due to extreme heat, SiNaCa Studios will make every effort to reschedule the class to a more suitable date and time. Participants will be informed in advance of any rescheduling and provided with alternative options.

d. Advance Notice: SiNaCa Studios will monitor weather forecasts regularly, and when a temperature-related cancellation or rescheduling is necessary, affected participants will be notified as soon as possible. We recommend that participants also stay informed about local weather conditions.

This temperature-related safety precaution is in place to prioritize the well-being of our community members and ensure that glass making classes can be conducted safely and comfortably. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.

 

By registering for a glass making class at SiNaCa Studios, you acknowledge and agree to abide by this Refund and Reschedule Policy. SiNaCa Studios reserves the right to update or modify this policy as necessary, with any changes being communicated to registered students in advance.

SHIPPING POLICY

We aim to provide clear and concise information about our shipping practices to ensure a smooth and transparent experience for our customers. Please read this policy carefully:

1. Shipping Locations:

We currently ship within the United States. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

2. Shipping Providers:

7. Delivery Address:

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete. SiNaCa Studios is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses. If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

8. Lost or Stolen Packages:

SiNaCa Studios is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been marked as “Delivered” by the shipping carrier. Please ensure that your delivery location is secure.

9. Shipping Restrictions:

Some items may have shipping restrictions or may require special handling due to their fragile nature. We will communicate any specific shipping instructions or restrictions during the ordering process.

10. In-Store Pickup:

In some cases, you may have the option to select in-store pickup if you are local to our physical location. This option may be available for certain products or events. If offered, you will see it as a choice during checkout.
