At SiNaCa Studios, we believe that access to space, tools, and community is essential to artistic growth. That’s why we offer practicing glass artists the opportunity to rent time in our fully equipped studios—whether you’re developing a new body of work, preparing for a show, or simply keeping your skills sharp.

Our rental program is designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or returning to the bench after a break, you’ll find a welcoming environment, professional-grade equipment, and the flexibility to work on your own terms. Each of our four studios—Hot Shop, Kiln Forming, Flame Working, and Cold Working—is maintained with care and intention, ensuring a safe, inspiring space for focused creativity.

We know that creative practice doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s why we offer studio memberships for artists who want to deepen their connection to the space and the community. Members enjoy discounted rental rates, priority booking, and access to exclusive hours and events that foster both skill-building and camaraderie.

🔧 Using the Studio:

Orientation: All renters will be required to complete a brief orientation with a staff member prior to first rental day. This meeting will serve to answer any questions the Renter may have as well as cover the studio procedures to ensure comfort in the space before work is started.

SiNaCa Assistant: The primary function of a SiNaCa Assistant in the glass blowing studio is to follow the direction of the artist that is renting the studio and the use of the assistant. A studio rental with a SiNaCa Assistant is not intended to be a substitute for a Private Lesson. A renter must be able to pass a Skills Test/Renter Assessment in order to use a SiNaCa Assistant.

SiNaCa Gaffer: The primary function of a SiNaCa Gaffer in the glass blowing studio is teaching a new skill or offering other direct advice on a project. A studio rental with a SiNaCa Gaffer is not intended to substitute for a Private Lesson. A renter must be able to demonstrate basic glass blowing fundamental skills to use a SiNaCa Gaffer.

Private Lessons: Private Lessons are an opportunity to lean fundamental skills in glass blowing outside of our standard curriculum. A student can work at their own pace to learn the fundamentals before moving on to working with a SiNaCa Gaffer.
