Alli Rogers

Alli Rogers Andreen is an artist and educator in Dallas, Texas. She has her MA in Art Education from the University of North Texas and specializes in art museum education and informal learning environments. She makes collaborative, performative work, often exploring concepts of history, femininity, community, and play.  

“I typically work in a variety of media to achieve playful collaborative environments through manipulation of translucent fiber materials layered with cellophane and painted blocks, welcoming participants to add, rearrange, or otherwise change the work. The tactility and unpredictable nature of these materials lends itself to improvisational construction, which translates well to the medium of glass, and presents a challenging balance between spontaneity and control.”
