Our group had a great experience and time at this place. It was our first time, but definitely not our last. We’re already planning to bring our dates and kids here sometime. Christa was my instructor and she was AMAZING! Loved working with her. Very informative and kind. She definitely made it fun. Hope to have her again next visit.

My husband and I went to a glass blowing Spark workshop for a unique date night and it was so fun! Rene and Kevin were really awesome at explaining the process and providing instructions while making our glass pumpkin. They made us feel comfortable and were very reassuring and encouraging! The workshop was a good experience because they essentially let you assist making your art while they perform the more heavy/risky parts for participant safety. As a person who has never has any glass blowing experience, I liked the structure of the class! They give you a rundown of what to expect before you start, talk you through the entire process, and provide the safety gear you need! It's kinda a far drive from where we live, but I'd definitely consider going back for a different workshop in the future! :)

My dad expressed an interest in attending the classes here so of course we had to go! Such a fun time. The instructors are knowledgeable and upbeat, and made us aware of the dangers without making us feel nervous. Its a wonderful thing spending a night out learning something new and making something cool!

I went in with zero experience and came out proud of what I had made. The glass gifts in the store are beautiful and I'm sure I'll be back for Christmas shopping. Thank you!

This was a great experience! Nick was such a phenomenal instructor and I learned so much during my event. It was well worth the 5 hour drive from west Texas and I’ll definitely be back! This would be great for a girls weekend event or team building for work group too. I can’t recommend it enough.

An amazing place to learn the process of making items with glass and assisting with glass blowing. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and help you understand the entire process. They work with you, so everything is perfectly safe and it's an amazing experience. There is also a showroom/small shop to purchase beautiful items that have been created at the studio. This would make a fabulous gift for someone, or do with friends and family.

Verified I've always wanted to try glass blowing and was delighted when my daughter found SiNaCa.
Kevin was a wonderful teacher; he did a great job of explaining each step.
The projects vary by season and prices and are offered on numerous days of the week. There's a variety of colors choose from for your selected project. My terrarium took about 30 minutes to complete and was ready for pickup after 4 days.
There are completed projects available for purchase. A small parking lot adjunct to the shop is available as well as places of the street.

     Perfect event for teambuilding
Had THE BEST teambuilding/networking event at SiNaCa. Heidi and her crew of experts led 28 of us in creating beautiful gazing balls during our time at the studio. Everyone had the benefit of an expert to help guide color choice and direct them in the finer points of glass blowing - which everyone participated in (even the most hesitant). The extreme heat of the furnace room was a little daunting in September, but there were plenty of fans and air-conditioned spaces for our group to connect and get to know each other. Heidi's staff went out of their way to ensure there was plenty of seating for all of us AND ensured that we could collect our beautiful glassware prior to the end of our time together in Fort Worth. Above and beyond!!! The contributions of all made this a memorable event and I will continue to book them every time we're in Fort Worth. Fantastic and unique experience for all!

I recently had the pleasure of participating in a glass blowing group activity at SiNaCa Studios, and I must say it was an incredibly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, creating the perfect environment for creativity to flourish. The trainers were not only skilled professionals but also fantastic mentors, guiding us through the process with patience and enthusiasm.

Making a bowl was such a rewarding endeavor, and I was amazed by how much I learned in just one session. It was a unique opportunity to delve into the art of glass blowing, and I left feeling accomplished and inspired. I highly recommend SiNaCa Studios to anyone looking for a fun and memorable activity. Thank you to the entire team for providing such an unforgettable experience!

Highly recommend! Don’t make the mistake of thinking you have to be artistic to enjoy this. Staff was across the board fantastic and patient. They really want you to enjoy the process of working with this unique material. They are safety conscience and able to accommodate your personal abilities. While we were there the youngest participant was a preteen girl and the oldest was a couple in their 70’s. All had a smile on their face and enjoyed creating their glass heart. Great for couples, groups, or going solo.

A delightful experience! The skilled person with whom you work walks through not only the process, but also safety instructions. The staff was enthusiastic about what they do, and delighted to share any anything and everything in their heads when asked questions (and, boy, did I have a lot lol). Even though you sometimes work in a small group (like 4 people), you get 1-on-1 time, and do not feel rushed. Everyone had ample time. The atmosphere was jovial, though safety was never overlooked. The family will definitely be doing more workshops here! If helpful for the introverts out there: I am not a social butterfly, yet had a blast!

I've done the Glass Blowing Experience Class (2021) and two Spark Workshops (2023): Flamework (flamesicle) and Glass Blowing (Ornament). LOVED my experiences. Love bringing home a hand made item. 5 star experience every time. Will be back. Highly recommend for a date night, out with the girls (or guys), or even a cool activity to do with older kids!

What a fantastic place! My girlfriend has always wanted to try glassblowing, so I bought tickets for both of us to an "Experience Glass Blowing" class, and I'm so glad I did.

All of the instructors were so friendly and helpful in guiding us safely through the process of creating two fun and personalized glass pieces.

If you're curious about glass-blowing, SiNaCa is the place to go for a great introductory experience!

Super lovely staff with great personalities who are always willing to answer any questions you may have. They’re dedicated to teaching in a safe environment and do everything they can to promote that. The studio itself is clean and the gallery is interesting. I think I enjoy the non-profit environment better than the university one for making art, as there’s less pressure to "get things right" on the first try and all participants are 100% focused on the task at hand (whereas the business students in an intro sculpture class... oof).

SiNaCa is different from other studios because you actually get to learn all aspect of making a glass piece (instead of most other places where you get to lightly touch a rod and feel some heat while an actual expert makes a perfect glass for you). I've taken a survey class and 2 workshops, learned a lot, and made a bunch of wobbly, off-center cups that only someone who's tried can appreciate. This stuff is not easy, but it is a blast and I want to learn more!

They have such a good way of communicating with various students and are encouraging and funny. I highly recommend this studio and these classes to everyone I talk to about it!

Glass blowing itself is great! It is a different kind of creative challenge that is so physical and intuitive (hopefully more so as I continue!) I fully plan on continuing to explore the craft and take more advanced classes soon!

Had an absolutely fantastic time learning about glass blowing and getting a chance to make my own pumpkin and paperweight. The instructors were eager to answer all questions and supportive of all ideas. They would show you a demo of all phases of making a piece, then bring you in to play a part, from choosing and adding colors, to shaping and finishing pieces. The whole process goes by so quickly (it has to when working with molten glass!) but I felt enriched by the experience, and can't wait to try it again the next time we visit.

I love this place. I have been by a couples of times to check out their live sessions, which are amazing. I also volunteered for an evening at their annual glass pumpkin patch!

It's such a great location with so many wonderful folks who just want to get folks involved in the arts. Their method is glass.

They're a 501(c)3 non profit and do a lot of great stuff in the community. They offer drop in classes if you want to check something out. They also offer so many events. So be sure to head to their website or just go in and check out their world class gallery and chat with whoever is there. You'll love them.

Everyone is awesome and despite having never taken a class, I find myself here often when I am in town. I'll update my review once I am around long enough to get a class in. 🙃

recommends Kevin and Clifton at SiNaCa studios are simply awesome, bar none!!!!! My husband and I had a few unfortunate circumstances involving our glass chips from our wedding ceremony (unrelated to them). When I explained that we were looking to have them create, or help us create, something to commemorate our wedding they went above and behind to make sure our chips we had were compatible and got us scheduled to come in. They walked us through every step of the way and educated us on the process of glassblowing. We had a wonderful time and are truly grateful to them for the experience and sharing their passion with us! We will most definitely be back!!

Forget painting with some wine, how about holding molten glass on the end of a rod in a 2100 degree furnace! The wife and I took the introductory glass blowing class here for date night, and the entire experience was a blast! The staff is both knowledgeable and friendly, and have an almost infectious passion for their craft. From the moment we walked in and were greeted to when we left the class the energy and charisma of the crew kept us enthralled. For those on the fence about playing with hot molten glass, safety is at the forefront of the staffs mind. We really cannot say enough of the great experience we had, but we can say we are already planning our next class with the kids this time.

    Verified Great shop and Gallery
We just happened upon this great little shop and gallery. Lots of beautiful pieces all price ranges. My daughter got a great pair or earrings for just $30. Definitely worth checking out.

In agreement with the other reviewers, excellent class. Very professional and student centered. This is a non profit teaching center hosting classes to the public. They regularly have groupon offers and its well worth it. Hands on and you keep your creation. Highly recommend.

I took a flame working class here and I can 100% say this was amazing. My class just so happened to be 1 on 1, which felt more personalized and my instructor (Nick) was very knowledgeable about everything I could think to ask. From the chemistry aspects of the glass to the know how on what to do to get the glass to do what you want, he had an answer.
Be warned, he makes it look very easy but as soon as you're in control knowing what to do can quickly exit your mind. Over the 3 hours I could definitely tell an improvement was made though. Im counting the days until next time!

Awesome as always. I have been four times tryimg out the different classes and "walk ups" offered. This place has great staff/volunteers. They make sure you have fun, while having an active part in the creative process. I highly recommend for your own personal experience but also as a great gift idea. They have come up with great ways to address covid-19 concerns. You are sure to have a great experience!
